MARINE PRE-LUBER APPLICATION
OIL-PAN DRAIN PLUG CHART

Marine Pre-Luber kit comes complete with three drain plug adapters. These are #02 (M12-1.5), #3 (1/2-20 UNF) and #04 (M14-1.5). These three drain plug adapters fit over 90% of the gasoline boat engine applications used.

Marine Pre-Luber drain plug applications are determined by basic engine block size. Most marine engines are conversions of General Motors, Ford and Chrysler engine blocks. Refer to the Marine Pre-Luber application chart.

Example: General Motors 350 V8 (5.7L) is used in the Mercruiser 5.7L and 350 Magnum engines; OMC uses it in the Cobra 350 engines; Volvo Penta uses it in the 570 and 571 engines.

Some engines utilize a Dipstick Drainplug adapter. For dipstick adapter applications a "Tee" oil drain plug fitting is available direct from your local hydraulic fitting supplier. These installations require a 3/8 male tee (with two #8 JIC flares) to replace the existing adapter.
